This program is a great opportunity to get started in software sales, but there are a few caveats to keep in mind. The experience you have here is entirely determinate upon which campaign you are placed. Some call on current customer campaigns upselling or cross-selling. Some campaigns are small markets selling a product with an ideal market fit. While others are calling ice cold c-suite leads in enterprise spaces, or calling on accountants during tax season, or any other near impossible selling spaces. There is also such a specific focus on dials as the gold standard activity metrics, something that bleeds over into their hiring partners that have built their in-house sdr programs to be identical replications of the revgen process. Something that would have made my time more fruitful in the revgen space would have been to be moved to different products and campaigns to get a feel for calling into different market types rather than just the one type that doesnt translate to the roles I ultimately applied for after the program. would also have liked to see some teachings on alternative outreach methods beside dials, like texting/emails which have proved the most fruitful in my current role
