Very political run organization therefore you need to become very close with your manager and colleagues. If you feel like you have differences and want to speak up, you’re in trouble.
Quotas are hard to achieve. Years ago quotas were based on TCV (total contract value), and has recently switched to ACV (Annual contract value) while maintaining similar sales quotas. I’m sure it was to prevent a couple individuals from making extreme commission compensation, and therefore leadership has set the bar high across the organization. Sales individuals must sell nearly three times to their perspective accounts for sales attainments in an ACV structure to meet your perspective quotas whereas TCV provided a better opportunity to achieve being that these contracts can be 36 months of value going toward your quota.
Culture can be great depending on your manager. When managers have little interest to help or do become less strategic when closing in on their own retirement makes it hard to feel fulfilled in this sales role. Browse Other Reviews
