There have been changes to the leadership over the past several months. The product was playing catch up once chatgpt and gen AI started to come out. They tried to incorporate more into the product, but the development was pretty slow. It was not a need to have product, and really a nice to have. Difficult to drive solid adoption unless there were really strong champions within the organization to make it happen. With ChapGPT and internal models that companies are pursuing, I see Stack Overflow for Teams to be at a severe disadvantage long-term.

My overall experience was positive, if OverflowAI is done right the company will succeed. If they don't get GenAI correct Stack will struggle to stay competitive with other AI solutions. Traditional Q&A may not exist.

Stack Overflow is crashing and burning in real time. No one is overperforming. Barely anyone near quota. They have cut multiple roles. The company is 1/3 of the size it was a couple years ago. The platform is declining in relevance and leadership are asleep at the wheel.
