Former Employee The "base" is actually a draw, but not marketed as such to prospective employees. TQL has "first commission check ceremonies" that are for the warm and fuzees only as the avg. first commission is <$50.
They also have a bad reputation in the market, which made it hard to attract new clients that were familiar with the brand. The incredibly high turnover didn't help.
I will say, the new hire training (6 months) is a great program for kids starting their sales careers. And at one point they offered a buy-out to any employee looking to leave (which I found odd as the avg. tenure in my office was less than 1 year).
