Current Employee Trimble has traditionally always had low base salaries relative to the market average. Because of the transformations in the AECO divisions that have taken place over the last 5 years, and new leadership, the comp plan and quotas have been all over the place. It seems like every year they put an attractive plan in place, they over correct the following year resulting in poor earning potential even for top reps. A lot of talented sellers that know the industry leave, and they backfill their roles with lower quality talent that are okay with the low base salary and get sold on how well people have done in the past. New leadership is promising and seems smart, coming from Procore, but any good sellers that have stuck it out in 2025 are anxiously waiting to see if they get it right in 2026.
