Vention has some highs but far more lows. Management tends to make decisions seemingly without foresite. Large number of reps not hitting quota despite company layoffs and reduction of sales staff.

Good people, pretty niche product, toxic culture, pay is not bad but many places have better. No inbound, lots of cold calls, product is interesting but not for all.

Vention positions new product launches as high tech, but behind the scenes it seems like is a copy paste of whatever else is out there in the market, packaged and branded with fluff and sparks, resulting in a B tier alternative to more robust and cost competitive solutions in the market. Vention is a nice place to build your career early on, with great colleagues and an innovative and complex product to sell. However, there is a lot of work to be done in order to improve career opportunities and pay potential for the Sales team.
