Current Employee Verizon is a great overall company to work for. Telecom is an industry that is mission critical for a lot of organizations. However, Verizon is also very good at structuring their compensation to drive phone + fixed wireless access net adds, so you need to be mindful of what you are selling. Also, managing the admin work that comes through from your core accounts can rat you alive if you let it. You have to be mindful of protecting your core hours to prospect both in your current accounts and new logos. I will also say though if you can figure out the balance in managing this the flexibility of the hybrid in office option is very nice and helps manage your personal life expectations. Overall satisfied with the company and job.
