Working door-to-door at Vivint Smart Home was one of the most intense and rewarding experiences of my career. It’s not for the faint of heart — you’re knocking doors in the heat, cold, and sometimes straight-up rejection — but if you lean into the grind, the growth is real. Vivint taught me how to sell face-to-face, handle objections on the fly, and adapt my pitch to different homeowners in real time. I got hands-on with smart home tech, learned how to demo security systems, and positioned value in high-pressure moments. Commission structure kept me hungry, and every closed deal felt like a win you earned. The team culture was competitive but supportive.
