Former Employee You can make a lot of money in a very short amount of time. I’ve made $120,000 in 4 months going door to door, where I sold 155 Vivint accounts. The con is that you have to travel to a market you might not want to be in for 4 months, live with people you might not want to live with, and well…its door to door. That said, you get a lot of time off since the main sales season is only 4.5 months long, especially if you’re just in an IC role. Managers work more. Relatively merit based promotion system, although the goal post can be moved last minute, screwing you out of a massive promotion - which is what happened to me. Overall, i give the experience a 6.5/10. Not bad for a first tech sales role. Taught me a lot. Met some great people. But that said, I do not plan on staying.
