Overall I think the company is solid and has good products, however the comp plan is AWFUL. Targets are unrealistic most of the time and if you do manage to knock it out of the park, you will barely make enough to justify the effort. There is also a ton of internal conflict among AMs and other sales roles in the company that makes it hard to justify staying. They have the money to fix the comp plan but the higher ups are too busy keeping it all for themselves or using it to acquire new companies. Would love white cap if they fixed these issues but I do not see it happening anytime soon.

Good culture, bad compensation plans. Overall I would say it is a positive work environment and can be a fun place to work. The only major downside is that the pay is only okay for the level of expectations. Even if you hit your targets, the money is simply not great. Very new to the company and to sales. They’re very helpful in providing training opportunities, however your ability to make substantial money is almost completely dependent on your market. If there isn’t a high demand for construction supply due to growth, then you’re virtually capped. Being in a city with major growth is ideal.
