Current Employee While direct supervisors are caring and do their best to assist their reps, upper leadership have made questionable decisions. Upper leadership also claims to care for their reps but often overlook pressing issues that affects their performance. Base salary starts low though can be increased to a reasonable amount per performance benchmarks that are achievable.
Overall, the culture in the field will heavily depend on how cooperative your team is. Training lasts only a week, which can be too quick for those who are not knowledgeable regarding the nuances of health insurance. Questionable billing can oftentimes cause trouble in clinics and there is a lack of transparency at certain times regarding insurances overall. The experience will truly depend on your direct supervisor and team members.
