The remote sales associate was a 1099 role and it didn't have any base. The upside was that it was completely flexible. Lots of folks used it as a side-hustle along with their other gig. Some folks used it to launch a sales career - which is super cool. No previous sales experience required, but you need to be an expert in the product category you're looking to become an expert in. Top earners who went full-tilt could earn $100k a year, but it was 100% a full-time job at that point. Not a ton of training but they do their best.
