Current Employee Incident IQ offers a solid product that fills an important need in the market, and many customers appreciate its capabilities. However, working on the sales team comes with significant challenges.
The culture is heavily micromanaged, with little trust or autonomy given to experienced professionals. In addition, the sales environment isn’t particularly positive or fun—it feels transactional rather than collaborative. There have been a lot of changes recently, and many team members have left in the past several months, contributing to uncertainty about the overall leadership and long-term direction of the company.
Another ongoing issue is pricing. The market consistently pushes back on the cost, and there is a lot of feedback from customers about affordability, but leadership has been unwilling to adapt pricing strategies.
