Mid level management was terrible, consistently set up reps for failure and gave terrible data and impossible goals then blamed SDRs for failure to cover their own mistakes. Manager was great, but the marketing team for Mailchimp especially outbound team was utterly incompetent

Even though it is a saturated marketing for ESPs, every business has one and it's all about positioning of the tool for each industry and market segment.

While the compensation was decent the overall direction of the company was skewed. The reps often felt a lot pressure having to "pivot" without any clear information provided. The goals were not exactly easily attainable for most reps, and they provided little technological resources you'd expect to see in a multi-billion dollar organization.
