Product is incredible. In this tough economy, companies are looking to reduce the amount being spent on Kafka and cloud spend. Redpanda has delivered on this. Redpanda has rewritten kafka in C++ to be faster, simpler, and cheaper. A good analogy for Redpanda vs Kafka would be Cassandra vs Scylladb.
