Former Employee Since being acquired by private equity, the company’s culture has significantly deteriorated. What was once a promising environment has been stripped down, leaving behind a shell of high turnover, low morale, and a clear disregard for long-term employee development. Many tenured employees have been pushed out, and the majority of current staff have only been with the company for a couple of years.
The sales org embodies a superficial "rah-rah" culture that lacks substance. There is little to no meaningful sales enablement, training, or mentorship. Coaching is virtually nonexistent. There is an overemphasis on "value-based" selling, likely a tactic to distract from deeper product issues. Pre-sales behaves more like a consulting firm, relying heavily on PowerPoint and inflated ROI projections, which frequently miss the mark with the target audience, who are pragmatic, blue-collar business owners who often find the messaging out of touch and sometimes offensive.
Sales leadership fosters a stifling environment through constant micromanagement and inspection, often displaying unprofessional behavior.
