
Sales Manager, Enterprise UK&I
Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking a high-impact Enterprise Sales Leader to drive our core growth and expansion across the UK & Ireland market. This is a critical role for an experienced sales execution leader with a passion for winning new business and a proven track record of guiding teams through complex enterprise sales cycles.
You will lead a team of 6-8 quota-carrying Enterprise Account Executives. We need a leader who can not only coach but also execute with their team, maintaining a heavy focus on New Logo Acquisition.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind:
- Elite Sales Execution: Directly assist and coach your team on navigating year-long, complex sales cycles from initial AE-led prospecting through deal close and negotiation.
- New Logo Mastery: Own and drive a rigorous execution plan to consistently deliver high-volume, high-value new logo wins in the Enterprise market.
- Process & Methodology: Deeply embed and enforce our MEDDPICC foundation and Value Selling methodology across all stages of the pipeline.
- Coaching & Development: Mentor, coach, and develop existing Senior Account Executives in everything from outbound prospecting and cold calling conversion to deal negotiation and quota over-attainment.
- Driving Pilots: Champion the execution of Proofs of Concept (PoC) and Trials, ensuring AEs (not just SEs) are equipped to drive this key sales motion effectively.
- Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate extensively with Marketing/Growth, Account Development Leadership, and Sales Engineering to ensure a smooth, high-quality sales pipeline.
- Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team, while championing Samsara’s cultural principles.
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- 8-10+ years of total sales experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- 4+ years of progressive sales leadership experience managing quota-carrying Account Executives.
- Deep execution knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC and Value Selling principles, with a demonstrated ability to train and coach these methodologies.
- A strong track record of overachievement in a New Logo (hunter) environment.
- Proven experience in coaching a team on proactive, AE-led outbound prospecting motions.
- Experience leading a team through a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion as part of a complex deal cycle.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC), strategic problem-solving, and team management skills.
