I worked at AT&T for a long time and always hoped to see the company improve over time and work past some of their flaws. Sadly AT&T went the opposite direction. Under the incredibly poor leadership of leaders like John Stankey, Jeff McElfresh, Jennifer Van Buskirk, etc. AT&T business has declined in every measurable way. By the time I left, every function of AT&T sales was a disaster. Sales operations in shambles, non-existent customer service, and truly evil performance management practices. Sellers are set up to fail. 75% of sellers are on PIP at all times and scared they will lose their jobs. NOT a healthy sales environment.

Great place to start. Could pay more but theres good leadership. Depends on the team youre on also. Top performers work on referrals so the job becomes less sales as time goes on.
