Compared to other technology consulting firms, especially the Big4 which is where I came from, sales seems quite disconnected from delivery. A whole bunch of "CALs" (Client Account Leads) selling our proposition, without always knowing what's required to resource and deliver a project, causing a lot of attrition and conflict at handover (from pre to post sales).

Accenture has some tough times ahead of them. Customers are getting more aware of every dollar they are spending and they don't care about the bench or our offshore resources. They want the best talent and tools available to them and Accenture is not leading with AI.

Enjoy working here and the team (colleagues). Incentives make quota fairly easy to hit but regular OTE (without winning internal sales competitions) after a maxed-out quota is still below market rate base pay.
