The product misses significant enterprise features. Even though Alation has great inbound lead flow, the solution had difficulty competing even though the company employs good SE's and architects to work on deals. The product issues soured the vibes within the sales and sales-related departments even though the company had a generally good culture.

Market leader in the space. Good culture and people. Good internal growth opportunities for those who work hard. Comp could be better aligned to company objectives by aligning non-OTE incentives to the overall Comp structure.
