Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee At Alert Logic in 2023, no reps hit quota which wasn’t even an option on RepVue. The company was acquired by Fortra, whose leadership can only be described as incompetent and uniformed at best. They performed a massive RIF to the Alert Logic core business unit in November 2022 which impacted the channel more than any other component to the business. This led to decimation of the pipeline, layoffs of several key technical resources, reduction in the SOC, and overall a massive downtick in the value proposition of the company. In terms of being a self proclaimed MDR, it has been surpassed in nearly every way by the majority of its competitors. Lacking in threat intelligence as well as active remediation which are critical components to a successful MDR company. The product has been surpassed and the company hit 40% of plan in 2023. Alert Logic was a great business and product prior to acquisition, but has been ran into the mud due to substantial mismanagement.
