Amazon Ads has been in a weird place lately. Layoffs hit some of our partner orgs hard, and there is an expectation that AEs will book large deals despite atrocious customer service from the Account Management organization, which makes renewals an uphill battle. We are a difficult company for customers to work with and they often do so out of necessity, not preference. In addition, our incentive plan is extremely confusing, and seemingly designed to keep seller comp as low as possible.

Overall, its a great place to learn with a world class product. Amazon is not for everyone but if you enjoy a fast pace, ambiguity, and thrive in change you'll do well here.
