Current Employee Finally leaving after a year.
Do yourself a favor and don't stop applying. Take whatever skills you need here and once you've got them take job interviews on your break and dip. Saying you’ve worked here is a badge of honor in this industry because everyone knows how draining and boiler room adjacent it is. The training is phenomenal. Even after huge sales if you miss your call or talk time metric one week even by a bit you are still given a PEP. It is toxic positivity-ville and the company is very aware of not only their predatory sales practices, but their terrible product market fit and their churn and burn hire and fire rate.
If you let them they will work you to the bone and replace you tomorrow. Yelp was better, and that’s saying something. Not only are the leads terrible and half are out of service, but the ones you do connect with hate Angi’s guts because of the constant harassment from multiple reps as the leads are rotated every two weeks. Some of these people changed their number because of them, let that sink in.
