Former Employee Anixter was a great company to work for! I loved my peers and management. I left because I applied for a promotion, which I lost to a more senior person with feedback that I needed internal PnL experience. 3 months later they hired my peer for the same role at a different location (same experience and time with the company and did not have that PnL experience). It was very frustrating. I opted to leave for a different industry with higher OTE and base salary.
