My overall experience has been great with Applied as the product has a lot of demand and also, Applied runs a very high market share in Canada. The trust and loyalty it has gained from years of service is unmatched. They really do look after their sales representatives and make sure they are happy. Being in a sales roles with a company who has a great reputation is always an added bonus. The pay structure is also on par with the market along with opportunities to grow within the business. I overall would recommend to anyone who is looking for a stable , highly competitive and growing job they should look at Applied.

Working in silos is expected even within the same department. Many people recreating the same wheel and can’t or won’t share information for fear of being fired. The company has a no fire policy, meaning low performers will receive no merit and they silently fire you. High performers are then left to pick up the slack and work more. Applied system was an amazing place to work. Lately, leadership has introduced a large quota increase, along with reduced benefits. they will No longer pay for cell phone or internet, and have raised the bar for presidents club. The writing is in the wall - Applied will become a burn and churn sales org.
