Current Employee The sales organization is highly unstable, though it can offer a reasonable introduction to enterprise sales cycles. Overall, I would not recommend this company to a friend. While the team members themselves are great, the sales leadership comes from cybersecurity backgrounds, which creates significant misalignments, as data management requires a different sales process and mindset. Unfortunately, leadership has not established a clear definition of what good execution looks like in the data management space, and I have noticed they can be very impulsive in their decisions. As a result, success often feels driven by luck — for example, inheriting an already nurtured account or benefiting from a territory reshuffle. Most significant deals have historically been hand-offs rather than self-sourced, with roughly 90% of wins coming from these transfers. The MDM product is falling behind competitors in the marketplace, and the sales motion has become increasingly confusing, with deal cycles that routinely extend to 12 months or longer.
