Current Employee The best part of this job is the people - that’s what keeps me here. That being said, it has become increasingly difficult to be successful. Inbound leads are practically nonexistent and while our BD team is awesome and works their butt off, our product is a nice to have and with this economy, it’s a tough sell.
Also, this year they completely tore our comp plan to pieces and have made it much more difficult to make OTE, even if you hit 100% of your quota because of how it is designed. Lastly, we are definitely over staffed, especially our commercial team. We have a great, experienced team who knows what they’re doing, but when the market is rough and leads are hard to come by, it doesn’t really matter how good you are.
Everyone works hard and truly cares, the product and the mission behind it are great, it’s just really unfortunate that the sales part itself has become increasingly more difficult and not for lack of skill. Browse Other Reviews
