Former Employee Bugcrowd has the potential to be great. Great people, great middle management, great supportive teams, and a crowdsourced security market that’s growing. Being the number two crowdsourced security vendor in the market, there is a lot of upside.
Unfortunately, that potential is being derailed by lack of sales strategy and old school mentalities at the C-level. The CRO believes hiring more will bring more revenue, he’s done this the past 3 years and it’s failed every time.
Trying to lead a sales organization by fear is not a strategy. In fact, there is 0 sales strategy or transparency from the C-level outside of quarterly all hands calls with no real communication.
Everyone is stressed, lack of inbound leads, 0 deal registrations, no transparency, strategy, or leadership from the C-level is why I would not recommend anyone takes a role at Bugcrowd. To add on that, no one hits quota (maybe 3-5 out of the entire company).
I would stay away from this company. I miss the people but am very happy I am no longer there. Hope to see them do well but if they make no changes, they will be obsolete soon. Browse Other Reviews
