Current Employee Overall the culture at Calendly within Sales is great, despite several rounds of layoffs over the past two years. We have had an excellent leader who has safeguarded Sales and advocated to C-Suite for our department. This leader recently departed, so the future feels uncertain.
The scheduling automation market has a lot of competition, and Calendly is no longer as special as the Founder/CEO believes it is. Potential to earn full OTE is high, however ACV is low so expect to work a large amount of transactional opportunities. Inbound lead flow is strong, however most are looking at the Enterprise minimum so these are more "land and expand" opportunities. There is a lot to like about this role (ability to achieve OTE, remote first culture, inbound leads, fortune 500 logos) but the low ACV is a detractor for Enterprise sellers. The company seems to be at war with itself over how to manage and fund Sales led growth vs Product led growth. The future of Calendly as a whole does not feel super bright as the Founder/CEO is out of his depth, and now the future of Enterprise Sales is equally uncertain. Browse Other Reviews
