Canary does a good job celebrating wins at the individual and company level. That said, management sets incredibly unrealistic quotas and even raised the quota for reps despite having 80% of the AE team fail to hit their goal. What's the point of setting an OTE when nobody can achieve it? Benefits are mediocre at best. No office lunches, the healthcare plans are terrible- good luck if you get sick! Nice to have unlimited PTO, but you will never be able to take it.

My overall experience at Canary was very meh. The culture was great when I first started but then it started to tank the longer I was there. The training and development was just a weekly 1 on 1 with your team lead where you went over activity metrics and maybe did a call review. The company keeps people in their positions for years and years while dangling small promotions. They have also un-promote people without warning The AE team is struggling hard to hit quota The market is also saturated. Prospects have already seen the demo already. Management tries to sweep problems under the rug instead of addressing the problems.
