Yikes - why is the Product Market Fit score so bad on here? (like one of the worst)

The company's product is incredibly antiquated.  Recruiting advertising is based on audience, nobody goes to CB to look for jobs which means you don't have a genuine pool of candidates to sell to employers.  Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc. are the current norm, CB is simply old news.

Besides the lack of traffic on CareerBuilder, they no longer support integrated candidate delivery which further devalues the job ads. Enterprise customers need candidates delivered directly into the req in their ATS, not sent to an email.

CB also no longer sells any software, it sold off or just closed every software solution, so overall there is very little to offer customers.

There has been underinvestment in their product for a really long time, like a decade. There do not seem to be any unique opportunities on their platform. Amongst job seekers, nobody visits this website first, and only the truly desperate look for jobs on their platform. I would also guess it ranks very low amongst their major competitors in terms of website visits

Agreed with other comments. CB has not pivoted will on advertising or technology. Both are lower to middle of the pack and not leaders. You spend more of your time trying to show your value to current customers  than actually selling to new.

Very few employers advertise directly on CB, and even fewer ad agencies use it because they know how poor performance is. Postings are dominated by staffing agencies, and by aggregators that scrape other career pages like LinkedIn and push those ads to CB.
