The biggest problem with Cisco is they just don't move fast enough to current market trends. Cisco wants to be a software and services company, but they struggle to release reliable code. The company is truly more of a holding company for a lot of small companies they've acquired rather than a market leader driving innovation.

Great Technology, reputed company and great people. However, Issue with management style where all pressure is on sales team despite being successful vs other functions at the company. Pay/Benefits are lower than industry, making it more difficult to overachieve each year, frequent layoffs, management politics making it toxic environment, slow career growth.
