Collibra is at an inflection point, where it transforms from a start up to a big corporate. The product is great for enterprise clients, however you need to have good sponsors and identified use-case to justify the sound. Alation is consistently undercutting and informatica is the incumbent. Great people and good incentives. However globally only about a dozen made target this year and mass layoffs have made it difficult to turn a blind eye in the constant change and dilution of culture. Typical go-public strategy

Advantage - Low quota compared to most shops and much higher base rate. No one hits quota but if you could in theory you can make money. Downside - everything else. Garbage culture, horrendously complicated product with poor support, worst Solution Engineering. Good luck making quota here. Unreal churn, both seller and executive. The product is good, but it’s a bit overwhelming for most companies. Unless you’re a very large financial services company or highly regulated you probably don’t need this level of data governance and it’s complicated to use. Very little inbound it was a slog.
