I’m being recruiter for an MM AE role here. Recruiter states that the OTE is 200k and the hiring manager says 80% of people are over their ytd goals. Repvue numbers are very different. What’s the deal?

That’s not true. There’s a rep on my team leaving soon because they were told 180k was earning potential and they’re trending to make 80k this year and has had to take out loans. My team is currently at 33% of reps hitting. And mgmt absolutely doesn’t care about it being so low, it’s a bummer

That's not accurate. There was one guy who might have made that, but he has since left. Back in the day that may have been the case, but not anymore. I second the other reviewer. I have a colleague who was promised a very high OTE but it never materialized. 125K at best.

I'm not sure which region you're in, but I'm based in Australia. Looking at Power BI, it appears that in the US, 80% of reps are tracking at around 40-45% of their annual targets. Meanwhile, a couple '2' Account Executives in the UK were fortunate enough to have their annual quotas halved, and as expected, they are killing it. This year, I am tracking at 40%, despite my territory being halved in size and my quota being 600k ACV more than the other three reps in my region (regions were split equally based on number of customers and white space). I was told this is because I "get paid more." The account managers seem to be doing well overall, as most of their quotas were significantly reduced this year. Overall, I anticipate that quotas will increase again in January, as it will become evident that certain individuals are being paid too much and their quotas were set too low.
