There is a lack of sales culture with most senior leadership in the sales org having a lack of sales experience. Predominantly Coursera is a Consumer business and all resources in the org are aligned around driving consumer revenue, not b2b.

Current Employee2.9Feb 26, 2025Great run - almost 5 years but the recent change in commission structure has been a disaster. Most AEs do not hit quota and this seems to have been a way for the company to save money as they were preparing for rounds of redundancy. Many people have been made redundant since 2022 - most of the sales team has 18 months tenure or less. Not the same pleasant environment...Read More
