Former Employee Enterprise is a great company for a fantastic long-term career, long hours but it is worth it. Lower starting salaries. However, if upper management supports you to apply for promotions you can move up quickly. The company is fully transparent on salaries once you start working there. Branch managers earn $70-80k, area managers earn $120-$300k. General Manager's which are VP's at Enterprise earn $1-$2M+ year. Fleet Management is the best division at Enterprise in my opinion. You can apply for the Fleet Management division as an Account Executive role once you get to assistant branch manager and can earn $100k-$300k+ after a few years in the Fleet Division. Top account Executives make $500k+ after 10 years if you are performing. Area sales managers in Fleet $300k, Regional Managers $700k, VP's in Fleet earn around $1.6 Million. Great potential at Enterprise but you MUST have your manager's approval to apply for promotions and then there is no guarantee you will get the position.
My best advice is to keep a strong relationship with your manager and your manager's manager. It is all about relationships. Keep your mouth shut and do not complain and you can go far in this company.
