Former Employee Esri is what I call golden handcuffs; they pay low, make you work in an office where they expect you to sit from 8am-5pm whether you are productive or not, offer no commission or incentives, but give you goals to hit that your yearly merit is based off of while giving you the availability to bank hours (anything over 40 hours) for extra vacation, no monthly health care deductible coming out of your check for your whole family, and 401k 5% added every year at the start of their fiscal year. If you have no drive or ambition, this is the place for you. If you like making money and want growth, this isn't a place for either. Plus they make you share a hotel room every year for their customer get-together in San Diego.
