A lot of promise, good tech, strong market fit, high analyst ratings. Expensive solution that isn't the right fit for majority of enterprise security teams, highly sophisticated teams have success, but heavy siem centric soc's are not ideal, the lack of a valid siem solution at Expel has been a crux, aside from telling customers to buy a cheap logging solution, i.e. Sumo Logic in addition to Expel - and there is no management of the siem - only alerts. Strong case study for how a change in CRO can destroy a culture. High turnover in enterprise sales org.

Proof that a single leader can ruin a culture. This sales org was fairly solid until a new CRO was brought in. This person had zero experience as a CRO (previously a VP by acquisition) and absolutely tanked the sales org with constant restructuring, blatant favoritism, and a poor market approach.
