Former Employee Depending on the division you work in at HID, the experience can be vastly different. The company grows by acquisition and takes forever to integrate the new group into the old. Management and reporting structure changes often which creates confusion and lack of continuity. Not to mention that new leadership may or may not have the same or similar vision to the previous leadership which leads to a mismatch in philosophies and what constitutes success. Often times issues get dumped onto teams that shouldn't own solving the problem, and are then held accountable for their own job plus others. At times it was great but became frustrating and unproductive over time.
