Lousy manager. I'm sure he was a great IC but a micro-manager, blind to the team's needs. I struggled to work with him and ultimately exited. Products are decent, but complex.

If you're in a Sales or SE role, looking for a job, avoid HPE Aruba at all costs. The leadership vision is poorly delivered to the market, as well as internally. Their comp program is highly flawed, often inaccurate. The company has changed over the last 2 years to micromanage the numbers and focus on metric driven results versus solution selling. The acquisition of Juniper only adds to the "corporate environment" and less of the nimble sales force needed in today's market.
