Current Employee Overt and obvious 'us and them' culture.
Them being the people who have been here a long time, have a lot of equity, been promoted into roles they are incapable of doing, and for the most part miss targets with no consequences.
Us being people who are expected to come in with insultingly low equity, no career path, and little room for error. We need to hit our numbers and deadlines, and it seems like make up for the shortcomings of all the tenured folks.
And that culture is felt deeply in the office. If you see someone working hard and actually performing, i guarantee theyve been there less than 18 months. If you see someone, probably in a leadership role, not a care in the world, not performing, they probably have fully vested a lot of stock and are just chilling making more than the people actually keeping the lights on.
If you've joined after 2023, you joined too late.
Also as of this month we have seemingly abandoned the mission and are just another AI company now.
