Current Employee There is minimal opportunity for growth unless you live near the headquarters in Maine. You have minimal control over the revenue growth in your territory, yet that is where 2/3 of your bonus comes from. If a hospital closes, you are responsible for making up that amount. That may be ok for a small town, but in a mid sized or large city, that is nearly impossible. Imagine if a hospital that buys $20k a month was in the Maui fire, you would have to make up $60k for the quarter. It's impossible. Or if a hospital is bought by a corporate group that doesnt use IDEXX. You're again responsible for making up that revenue. Not only is your bonus unstable, but you can also be fired for not making your revenue goal. Last thing, the yearly increases were less than 4% for everyone last year regardless of performance.
