Former Employee I was the only woman in the office and had been at the job for two months when I attended out-of-state training at the HQ location. During the holiday season, I struggled with uncomfortable sexual comments and swearing from the men, but my concerns were dismissed.
A married coworker harassed me, and leadership did nothing. I wanted to explore other departments, but a miscommunication led the CMO to contact my manager about an opportunity, upsetting them and making it clear I wouldn’t grow into that role.
Despite my efforts, I felt depressed and uncomfortable at work. Calls to clients were difficult with constant swearing, and building rapport took time. After returning from COVID and my birthday, the company let me go, citing poor performance, even though I was trying to succeed.
A year later, I realized I could have sued the company for harassment. I don’t feel I was given a fair chance and wouldn’t recommend working at any branch other than HQ. Browse Other Reviews
