Former Employee Very torn here, on the one hand the Product is top tier, the access and selling relationship to the OR is unmatched, Training is again best in class and many people you run into at Sunnyvale or talk to across the org are sharp Type A kinda people. I do respect and learned a lot from Gary, Dave and Jamie who have sharp focus on the business (and have taken on more at times to help out on some of the issues below)
However, the commercial leadership issue is real. A lot of the CSD's & VPs have a smile to your face, judge you behind your back way about them. Most times your fate and future is decided based on how they feel about you. They also try to keeps portraying Intuitive is the little guy but last I checked the company is the 65th most valuable company in the word.
When you look at comp keep in mind you will do the work of 3 people. The growth goals are start up based and the territories are maturing to fairly mature.
Still, the experience is career changing and time here will prepare you for the future.
