Former Employee The process to get hired is far too onerous. Your compensation is capped pretty low if you are front line sales. Overall the sales people, inside and outside were great people. Middle to upper management were horrible. The decisions to promote, give raises, or even inhibit advancement were completely based on nepotism, blackmail, or the buddy system. The ESOP is great at creating a retirement, but terrible for living day to day. The company relies heavily on the ESOP to entrap people into staying, instead of actual compensation, path to advancement, and competent management. If they didn’t have Emerson backing them, this company would crumble under their own incompetence.
