My overall experience with Juniper was positive. As advertised, good culture and work life balance. Base pay and OTE was good but upside is not. Products are generally highly regarded although there are several gaps in key industry growth areas, and supply chain issues during Covid caused a lot of problems (surprisingly some of them are still ongoing). Mist and AIDE are the growth areas for the company and the best place to be. Not a very sales driven company and there is a disconnect between product and the field.

The culture is good but turning into a more Cisco-like company with all the leadership being hired directly from Cisco. Base pay is low and quotas are high compared to similar companies but the product market fit and popularity is growing. Quota attainment is probably better than it is at other tech companies right now.
