Current Employee One of the leaders in the industry. Better job security than your average sales role - they don’t do layoffs, you’re not in fear even if you miss multiple Qs in a row. Your success here is very dependent on your territory/product line/manager, and inbound vs outbound/new logo vs existing also mainly territory/product line dependent. Biggest downside IMO: your upward mobility is incredibly limited and they don’t give any opportunities for training outside the Keyence ecosystem (you’re trained on Keyence sales methods but they use their verbiage, you have to learn to translate it into methods that are accepted within the industry). All decisions come out of Japan, you can only move so high up outside of Japan.
