This was my first "sales" position after retiring from the USAF, I did not understand salary/OTE. L3H is a multi billion dollar company but they are very reluctant to pass revenue on to the sales folks. During my 8 years at the co. there were several acct mangers that departed due to not receiving compensation for multi million dollar sales.
