Does Microstrategy really care about driving results with the sales team and helping seller succeed or just laser focused on crypto?  Is it an org worth looking at?

They are an awful organization with no regard for their employees.   I know people still there and would highly recommend to look elsewhere

I worked at MicroStrategy pre-crypto. The focus is on install base customers who are all disappointed in the innovations since they scope outside of the the BI space which is the roots of MicroStrategy. There was negative help selling. Michael Saylor approved my quotes himself and leadership refused to let me submit quotes and therefore get contracts to customers. Customers at the time were simply trying to move from on-prem to the cloud.

There are only 10-20 people in the 1800 person organization who are focused on Crypto.  That gets all the attention from the public because of the incredible stock gains.  However, MicroStrategy is using the revenue from its Crypto gains to invest heavily in its software.  For those who are willing to work hard and buy into the company plan, there is tremendous upside with compensation, commission and stock options and RSUs. We have the best BI solution on the market -- and in 2025, this will become much clearer to the market and to Gartner and our prospects and customers. But let's be clear, this is Enterprise software and deals are not falling into your lap.  You've got to prospect, you've got to really invest in your customers to gain additional revenue and succeed.
