Former Employee I spent over 7 years at Moody's Analytics working my way from SDR up the internal sales ladder to Assistant Director of sales. Which is just a title they start to give sales reps who have been there so long they deserve upward movement, but their internal structure doesn't allow it.
For the last 3 years in my role our annual goals nearly doubled year over year while commission % went down. When I started my career at Moody's, reps were making 30% commissions. When I left that was down to 4%. Sell more to make less is what the entire sales departments turned into.
With a lack of upward mobility and unobtainable annuals goals they pushed out all the old reps to set a new standard. The new guys wouldn't know commissions used to be 30%. They think 4% is the standard.
I wish I had anything nice to say about this companies leadership as whole. After 7 years with the company I was let go along 25 other reps a week before Thanksgiving. No exit interview. HA! Browse Other Reviews
